Common questions
How does the score work?
You take a quick scan and answer a few questions; Auratype gives you an aura score across traits you can actually change (glow, grooming, style, expression, presence, photo) plus a plan. It’s for entertainment and self-improvement — not a measure of innate attractiveness.
Is my photo stored?
Auratype does not store your photo or build a face template. With your consent, it is sent to OpenAI in separate safety and scoring requests; OpenAI’s API retention terms apply. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Auratype, then manage or cancel. If you’re on the 3-day free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid a charge.
How do I restore a purchase?
On the paywall, tap Restore. If it doesn’t restore, make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you purchased with.
How do I delete my data?
Use the in-app deletion control to immediately remove your stored scores and derived app data. We keep the consent record as required legal evidence. Deleting app data does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage billing separately in Apple ID subscription settings.
