By using Auratype, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
What Auratype is
Auratype is an entertainment and self-improvement app. It gives you an “aura” score based on controllable traits (grooming, style, expression, presence) and a plan to improve. It is not a measure of innate attractiveness, and it is not medical, dermatological, or psychological advice. You must be 16 or older to use it.
Acceptable use
Use only your own photo, or one you have the right to use. Don’t upload photos of other people without permission, and don’t upload illegal, harmful, or explicit content. We may refuse images that fail automated safety checks.
Subscriptions (Auratype Pro)
- Annual: a 3-day free trial, then $49.99/year.
- Weekly: $7.99/week.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. On a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid a charge.
- Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we don’t process payments directly.
Your content and privacy
Your photo stays yours. When you give affirmative consent, it is sent to OpenAI, Auratype’s processing partner, in separate safety and scoring requests. Auratype does not store it, no face-geometry template is created, and it is not used to train Auratype. OpenAI does not train on API data by default and may retain API inputs for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days unless Zero Data Retention is enabled. See our Privacy Policy for details. You keep all rights to your own photos.
Disclaimers and liability
Auratype is provided “as is,” for entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
